June Bugs 03:10
Drop another yen down the wishing well Augustine June bugs are buzzing around still They're looking for fig trees she's looking for will She met a Douglas fir on the dating app It never lasts long he's too much of a sap He thinks she wants him but she just wants a nap Cause she's the only the man that i want to be the only man that i'd like to be All my wishes one and two and three She's the only man that i want to be Rose passed out in the cookie shop The baker drew the body on the floor with a mop Tourists walked in they covered her up Carbon fiber hurricanes and paper sea shells A sea parade with no name and rusty bells If she's not a part of it, no one can tell Cause she's the only the man that i want to be the only man that i'd like to be All my wishes one and two and three She's the only man that i'd like to be She's the only the man that i want to be the only man that i'd like to be All my wishes one and two and three She's the only man that i'd like to be

7 03:30
Seven o'clock, you're never gonna wait again Seven o'one, you feel how the seconds bend Seven o'two, you're gonna know when it kicks in Seven o'three, and just before you think again... Say hello to your new friend Seven o'four, you finally understand the plan Seven o'five, you notice none of it makes sense Seven o'six, you're gonna be the danger man Seven o'eight, hold on what happened to seven? Say hello to your new friend Say hello to your new friend Seven o'clock, you're never gonna wait again Seven o'one, you feel how the seconds bend Seven o'two, you're gonna know when it kicks in Seven o'three, and just before you think again... Say hello to your new friend

Hell 03:56
According to the Presbyterian priest You can either go up or go down The way he talks you'd think he's seen a lot But you don't ever see him go out What is it like? Is it hot? Is it hard? Is it just like people say? How does it work? Is there government and language and dessert? Do they drink on holidays? Open up the gate to hell Take the one line going down now Open up the gate to hell now Heaven's line is slowing down Here they say heaven works you like a dog Peer reviews, deadlines, and team chats She pours me absinthe from the eyes of a skull Doesn't seem very much wrong with that If you had the choice Would you rather lose your hearing or your voice? Not the best fate either way If you had to choose Would you rather become manic or confused? All alone or stuck on stage? Open up the gate to hell Take the one line going down now Open up the gate to hell now Heaven's line is slowing down Open up the gate to hell Take the one line going down now Open up the gate to hell now Heaven's line is slowing down

about

Four tracks of buttoned-up instrumentation and whimsical narratives that hungrily idolize a stranger, merge with the infinite, travel to hell to answer simple questions, and above all enthusiastically count to twelve. My saturated voice, drums, piano, and picked bass guitar are front and center mixed with occasional synth leads and textures. Recorded in October 2022 to one-inch tape with the help of Garrett Reynolds (engineer), Linden Crumrine (bass), and the world’s greatest microphone. Produced by David Plell.
